Education

New Era Junior School prides itself on redefining elementary education in the state through its unwavering dedication and determination to make superior quality education available to every child. Emphasising deeply on the country’s Right to Education policy, NEJS has been championing the cause for over three decades and has had a positive impact on the education dynamic in the state. NEJS boasts a team of well-qualified, compassionate, and sympathetic educators with over many years of experience in the teaching field to ensure that your child not only learns the best from the best but also develops a deep emotional intelligence in addition to developing a higher intelligence quotient by learning something new each day.

Creativity

The New Era Group of Schools believes that imagination is the key to developing the creativity of children, even more so at a younger age when the mind is free and the imagination of a child is soaring. Emphasising this crucial aspect of learning and a child’s all-round development, New Era Junior School ensures the flow of creativity through art and craft classes, off-campus creative activities such as pottery, clay designing, and calligraphy workshops, and by organising school level drawing competitions, in addition to encouraging students to participate in interschool, state, and national level art competitions and exhibitions.

Sports and Games

The importance of sports and games, among other physical activities like yoga and exercise, in a student’s life cannot be overemphasised. To help them not only get physically fitter but also sharpen their minds through developing tactical strategy making abilities, New Era Junoir School goes the extra mile by organising various sports and games competitions and events like the school’s Annual Sports Day. By doing this, our school aims to ensure that our students achieve strength, agility, and flexibility while also practising mindfulness to keep their minds as healthy as their bodies. At New Era Junior School, abilities like critical thinking and working as a team are nurtured by games like chess and football, under the guidance of trained professionals.

Performance

Another one of the most crucial aspects of learning and development in a student’s life comes from fostering their performative creativity. To keep issues like performance anxiety and stage fright at bay, NEJS has always been mindful about allowing students to showcase their talent through various performances – from singing and dancing to theatre performances and workshops. The school’s Inaugural Day is celebrated with zest and cheerfulness from the teachers and students alike, who encourage one another to participate and give their talent the centre stage as the whole crowd consisting of parents, teachers, other pupils, as well as some of the most renowned chief guests and judges cheer on and applause in awe for them.
